All managers and supervisors are responsible for promoting and upholding this statement within their teams and areas of control. We make our stance on modern slavery clear during recruitment and induction processes and reinforce it in internal communications and training, especially for colleagues involved in procurement, supplier management, and recruitment.
We aim to ensure that staff understand how to recognise potential indicators of exploitation, such as signs of coercion, restriction of movement, withholding of documents, or unreasonable deductions from wages, and know how to report concerns safely and confidentially.
Reporting Concerns and Safe Channels
Deep Cleaning Islington encourages anyone who works for us, supplies us, or receives our services to raise concerns about modern slavery or unethical labour practices at the earliest opportunity. Concerns can be reported to line managers, senior management, or through our internal reporting processes.
